Goshala By Sai Samsthana
Goshala
A sacred sanctuary at our Ashram where the holy cows are sheltered, protected, and lovingly cared for — honouring the timeless tradition of Go Seva.
What Is Our Goshala?
Gomata — the cow — is revered in our tradition as a mother, a symbol of purity, patience, and selfless giving.
Our Goshala shelters cows that are aged, injured, abandoned, or rescued from neglect — offering them clean shelter, wholesome fodder, and regular medical care.
Every cow here is cared for with the same devotion we offer at Sai Baba's feet, so their remaining years are spent in comfort and dignity rather than on the streets.
The Journey of Go Seva
What began as a small shed under Pujya Sri Gurumurthy Guruji has grown into a daily practice of feeding, bathing, and caring for Gomata as an act of worship — with devotees and volunteers alike welcomed to take part.
Every cow at our Goshala is looked after for life — an ongoing seva that depends entirely on the generosity of devotees like you.
Our Goshala at a Glance

Medical Care:
Regular veterinary visits, routine health check-ups, and prompt emergency care for every cow in our Goshala.

Daily Care & Feeding:
Fresh fodder, clean water, and hands-on care every single day — offered with the same devotion as seva at Sai Baba's feet.
Go Seva
Offer Go Seva
Every cow in our care is fed, sheltered, and tended to as an act of devotion — following the example Lord Krishna himself set as a cowherd in Vrindavana.

Lord Krishna Is Described As
“namo brahmanya-devaya go-brahmana-hitaya cha”
— the well-wisher of cows and brahmins (Vishnu Purana 1.19.65). Krishna's own names, Govinda and Gopala, mean “friend and protector of cows” — a reminder that caring for Gomata has always been an offering of devotion, not merely animal welfare.

Fund Our Goshala
Every rupee offered towards Go Seva becomes fodder, medicine, and shelter for Gomata.
Caring for a cow is a lifelong commitment, not a one-time act. Your contribution — big or small — helps us feed, treat, and shelter the holy cows in our care, exactly as Baba taught us to serve every living being with love.
We will offer Sankalpa to Sai Baba in your name, or in the name of your family and friends, in our Sai Mandir.
Donate to Our Goshala
Your kindness provides fodder, shelter, and medical care to the holy cows sheltered at our Ashram.
Your donation directly supports the daily care of Gomata at our Goshala.

Caring for Gomata is service at the feet of Sai Baba Himself.
Join hands with Sai Samsthana to give the holy cows in our care the shelter, fodder, and love they deserve.
